US Cellular is one of the bigger cell phone carriers that serves 26 states in the US and is expanding. They’ve also started to branch into pre-paid US cellular cell phones with the launch of their talk tracker service. US cellular prepaid supports most of the modern features that come with current cell phone technology and you can also activate supported cell phone models that they may not sell themselves, many people appreciate the fact that they don’t have to buy US cellular phones to use their service. The only thing to keep in mind however, is the fact they are a regional provider so they don’t have the kind of coverage that a company like Verizon wireless would have.

US cellular prepaid plans comes in two basic forms, one is a monthly plan and the other is more of a pay-as-you-go type plan. All of the US cellular plans that are monthly include free incoming calls as part of their package, they also give you free talking minutes after 9 PM as well. there $45 cell phone plan also comes with 350 anytime talking minutes, and if you happen to go into overage time, charges each minute ends up being about $.15 each.

They also have $60 and $80 plans as well, the $60 plan gives you 600 minutes of talk time plus unlimited minutes on the weekends, the overage charges per minute for this particular plan are about $.10 each. The $80 plan comes with a very generous 1000 minutes of talking time plus a limited time during weekends as well with overage charges the same as the $60 plan.

If you decide to go with one of their pay-as-you-go options, the first choice has a monthly access charge of about six dollars and will run you about $.15 per minute. Their second choice has a monthly access charge of $10 and will cost you $.10 per talking minute. You can access their customer service without using any of your minutes either through e-mail or by calling their toll-free customer service phone number.

You can usually refill the minutes on your account at US cellular retail store which requires a five dollar minimum refill. You can automatically refill your phone’s minutes by calling the customer service number and using a credit or debit card, Western Union stores are another option as well. US cellular prepaid phones also support text and picture messaging as well, with texting messages that are in coming being free for both monthly and pay-as-you-go plans. You can either go if a text messaging package ranging from $4.95 all away up to $14.95 for unlimited messaging, or you can pay $.25 per message à la carte.

Keep in mind that calls that are made from outside of your service plan area will be charged at $.69 per minute, so be mindful of where you’re going to be using the phone. They support most of the standard calling features such as voicemail, three way calling, caller ID functionality, and call waiting on all their prepaid plans. There fee for activating the phone is $30 which is a one time fee, and this fee is included in their starter packages should you decide to go with that option with prices that vary depending on the area you’re in.

For many, going with any type of contractually-based cell phone plan or service is simply not an option for those who have a very bad credit history or a nonexistent one. In this case, going with some sort of pre-paid cell phone service might be the best option and frequently is. One of the best companies to go with Net 10 wireless. Net 10 Phones offers a wide variety of prepaid mobile phones and models which can either operate as a prepaid phone or as a net 10 prepaid wireless unlimited plan.

One of the great features about a net 10 wireless phone, is the fact that they are all GSM phones which support many of the modern conveniences of cell phone technology such as voicemail and text messaging while keeping costs at a minimum.there are also additional models supported by major cell phone manufacturers like Samsung for example, the support even more dance teachers such as a hands-free speaker or headset, built-in cameras, Bluetooth, mobile web support, and even QWERTY keyboard support.

Net 10 prepaid phones are available in a wide variety of locations and stores both online and off, and they use the AT&T mobility network for service. Each minute of talking generally costs a flat rate of about $.10 and text messages cost usually somewhere around $.03-$.05 with no additional costs or fees. You can usually fill up these minutes either on their website or through phone itself, and one of the other beneficial features is that these minutes carry over from one month to the next as long as your service remains active.

What’s even better is that recently the company has decided to change their very long-standing policy on minimum airtime purchases, and now any user can purchase as little as $20 for every time they choose to add or reload their minutes. These minimum $20 air time purchases can be bought in physical card form or through the company’s website, you’ll also be able to typically find these cards and phones sold in target stores as well.

Speaking of which, the net 10 unlimited phones which are more like a traditional plan without a contract, are sold exclusively at target brick-and-mortar store locations. For a flat rate of about $50 US, you have access to unlimited voice, mobile web, texting, and 411 calls. This particular service uses the T-Mobile USA network, which themselves are known for having fantastic non-contractual cell phone plans. To be even more specific, there are about three reticular model phones that are used for this plan:

The Samsung t401G slider phone, which has a QWERTY keyboard

The LG LG600G which is more of a clamshell style camera phone

The Motorola EM326g slider phone

Be sure to check out all of the available options to you as there are more pre-paid cell phone carriers and cell phone providers than this one company alone, but the net 10 cellular phone service provider tends to rank among the very top of these companies and providers.

In today’s day and age, people are looking for a lot more out of their cell phones than simply talking or checking their voicemail. Many people these days with the advent of Wi-Fi and 3G capable networks are looking for phones that have more traditional computer-like properties and functionalities, this would include access to applications, and games, web browsing, GPS navigational system capabilities, and other more advanced functionality. The great thing is that now we have phones that can really do these functions and more, and while there are all sorts of new models and turning into the marketplace, it’s safe to say that the 500 pounder allowed in the room is the iPhone. The problem is that with our current economic times despite these types of phones being absolutely crucial, many people have very poor credit and as a result are trying to get an iPhone bad credit plan.

The fact of the matter is that it’s not going to be cheap to get a phone like this up front in any legal way, but it is possible for those of you who simply have the cash but don’t have a credit score credit rating to go along with that cash. In other countries you can get service with other cell phone service providers like Cingular for example, but in the US where the iPhone has one of highest adaptation rates, it can be frustrating when all they have access to is AT&T for the most part which doesn’t make cell phones bad credit situations any easier. The problem with this is that AT&T requires a pretty hefty deposit up front the numbers can range anywhere from $500-$750 up front if you have bad credit. You do have another option however which is to order a European or other model if you’re in the US that is unlocked and was a little bit of technical know-how and with the official support of the service provider you can get the iPhone working on the T-Mobile service in the US.

Keep in mind in addition to paying a heavy fee up front, AT&T is more likely to be flexible and these current economic times, and you may find that they have some pay-as-you-go options for the iPhone bad credit customer. When you activate a bad credit iPhone through iTunes and go through the process to try and activate it you will say you don’t have the necessary credit, and then you can opt to pay-as-you-go instead. But keep in mind with all the different iPhone models that are coming out and the different service plans that the service providers are making available and all the countries, their offers will change in their requirements for what you can and cannot get will change as well so be sure to do your research and check out all the different options available to you, don’t be afraid to sho

If you’re having trouble getting bad credit cell phones and mobile phone contracts, you’ve likely noticed that these can be kind of hard to apply and then be accepted for. Usually a typical credit check is required when trying to get a monthly based mobile phone contract. So given today’s economic times, what are people to do when their credit has been so severely damaged? Fortunately, there a lot of different online retail outlets and even traditional storefront outlets that offer bad credit cell phones and bad credit cell phone plans regardless of your personal credit history or lack of credit. This is primarily due to the fact that so many people have been affected by the economic crisis across the globe and will likely be affected for some time in the future, cell phone companies still very much still need to stay in business and are now offering more flexible and nontraditional options for these customers.

A new customer will more often than not find that there are two basic bad credit cell phone plans and structures. One of these types of cell phone plans is what’s known as a “no credit check required” or “cell phones bad credit” system. The other type of cell phone system that companies have started to provide will do a credit check of sorts but have a lower credit approval score standard for the applications and may ask for a security deposit upfront.

The good thing about the cell phone companies that don’t ask you to go through credit check is that you basically have guaranteed acceptance and approval for your bad credit cell phones. The downside to this type of plan is that they can still be very expensive and are often very restrictive in the ways and times you can use the cell phone. If you’ve ever had to go through the horrible experience of applying for mortgages or car loans when you have poor credit, you will likely have noticed that these too often are very expensive programs. These cell phone bad credit service plans are much the same way in that you pay much higher rate than would normally be the case for folks with better credit histories. Even having said all this though, you may still be very tempted to try this option, but there is some facts to keep in mind when doing so:

You will be limited in your choice of phone models

You will likely have to pay a much higher monthly fee for all services like text messaging and other monthly fee based services.

You’ll probably be required to sign a much longer service contract.

Your interest rates on a cell phone with bad credit plan would be much higher than would be for traditional rates on cell phone plans

So as you can likely see while these types of plans may be appropriate for some of you, many other folks may want to go with companies that simply acquire a reasonable deposit for the year, but allow you to have much more reasonable monthly rates and interest because of the fact that they have lower standards for credit acceptance and because the deposit fee that you’ve paid. Keep in mind that different companies may have different acceptance standards amongst each other, so would be wise to consider applying to several different competing cell phone providers so that you can get the best deal.

In today’s current economic climate cell phones although these days a complete necessity, are in fact a financial risk for quite a few people and so it has become necessary for many to find alternative ways to get free cell phones bad credit situations resolved. The fact is that getting denied simply on the basis of having no credit because you’re just starting out in the world or because you have a bad credit score due to things that are completely beyond your control can be extremely embarrassing and oftentimes very frustrating when you need a cell phone in your day-to-day life. While it is true that nothing in life really is free, you can get various free cell phones bad credit options provided to you if you shop around and ask for the right kind of cell phone models and free cell phone plans. Essentially these phones are not free up front but become so later on down the line once you’ve proven yourself with the company.

Here’s an example of what some of the different cell phone carriers and providers will offer to people who have bad credit and still wish to get cell phones with bad credit:

One of the biggest carriers available in both the and in many other countries is Sprint. Sprint will most likely ask you for $125 security deposit if you have bad or no credit. And while these aren’t essentially free phones they might as well be for someone in this particular type of situation. What Sprint will do is they will charge you about a $125 deposit, and then what they’ll do is after about a year’s time of using the cell phone and the service they will cut you a check for that deposit provided you have paid your bills on time, this effectively next you the free phone and also builds up your personal credit as well as your credit with the cell phone company.

T-Mobile is another popular company however unlike Sprint they charge a heftier price for that deposit that I explained above, typically they’ll ask for about $500 for that deposit assuming you have bad credit; again this will typically take about a year to get back. The fact is, getting the free cell phones bad credit can take a lot of time-usually one year. More often than not a lot of people struggle to pay their bills and as a result will lose the security deposit that they paid either due to laziness or ineptitude, you want to be sure to pay your bills on time she really can that some free cell phones for yourself as well as a stable phone plan. Most companies are pretty cool with having you as a customer once you have built up a good solid history with them, which in turn will also build up your overall credit history as well, it’s simply a matter of leverage and trust, and your building both.

When trying to get accepted for a bad credit cell phone plan, most cell phone operators will ask that you pass a certain type of credit check to ensure that you can maintain the monthly payment schedule. But what if you’re someone who has really sketchy credit history or no history at all? In this article outlines some basic but very effective tips so that you can do your hands on the bad credit cell phone and also a reasonable monthly contract regardless of the type of credit rating or credit history that you may or may not have. One of the most basic but effective tips that I suggest doing is to opt for a more basic cell phone handset and monthly plan that’s on the cheaper side.

The reason I advise going with a low cost or low-end cell phone or handset device is because when you do go to apply for your cell phone or cell phone plan your more likely to give accepted because often whether you are accepted or not is not only based on your credit but the type of cell phone model that you wish to get along with the plan that may be necessary to have the company that cell phone. The Apple iPhone would be a fantastic example of this, getting this type of phone when you have bad credit is virtually impossible because not only is this a high-end cell phone that’s very expensive, but the type of cell phone plan that’s needed to run the basic functions let alone the full gamut of functions on a cell phone. These types of services offered require data function on text messaging and other more robust features, and as such they cost much more so you want to avoid going for smart phones or really expensive and fancy models and plans so that you can get approved.

The fact is that every different mobile network and cell phone company has a different standard for credit checking, so if you’re looking to get any sort of bad credit cell phone plan or model, I advise researching the different online service providers that are out there. This is because when you deal with these companies directly you’re more likely to be approved than if you went through a third-party retailer, plus there’s also a lot less red tape when doing so. Often these cell phone carriers will have their own internal credit scoring systems that are much more accurate and up to date than the ones used by third-party manufacturers, so going this route to get a bad credit cell phone service plan may be one of the best choices. This doesn’t mean however that you can’t go to some of the big cell phone carriers in your particular country and see if they provide any options for cell phone service with bad credit mentioned above, in these economic times many of them do. This can be either AT&T or Verizon and in the US as well as T-Mobile, in the UK for example, you can go with some of the easier companies to get accepted by like Vodafone, Orange, or 3 Mobile.

It seems these days that everyone in the world has some sort of cellular or mobile phone nowadays, and even those who don’t have one tend to want one for a lot of obvious reasons. The fact is in today’s modern life, these are crucial and important devices by which we all keep in touch with each other in our family life and our businesses. But because this is the case cell phone providers are notorious for being very picky and finicky with how and who they give contracts to. The fact is that today’s economic times being what they are, getting contract cell phones for people with bad credit can be a real challenge, and almost an impossibility for some who haven’t done the research were simply been turned down by retailers and service providers. There is hope however, and there are some options available to you so that you’re not completely left without a cell phone.

For anyone seeking contract cell phones for people with bad credit, they likely come to the sad realization that if you do have poor credit, getting any type of cell phone or mobile phone contract can be really difficult. The key word here however, is that it’s difficult; not impossible. You simply need to be prepare to and ready to do some research and due diligence to find the right kind of deal and service provider for your cell phones bad credit situation, maybe even in places that you may not have ever considered before. It’s time to open yourself up to new ways of purchasing cell phones and bad credit mobile phone plans, and this new way is through direct or indirect purchasing through the Internet.

The fact is that one of the easiest ways to find any type of cell phone deal to fit your needs is through the Internet. You can bruise and browse all the different cell phone plans and models to your heart’s content and the time and fashion that you wish all about the high-pressure sales tactics of salesmen and cell phone stores. This one fact alone is not to be discounted, because it is often in these environments that people choose the wrong kind of cell phone or cell phone plan for themselves. The fact is that most of the big providers today are for contract cell phones for people with bad credit, most of the big carriers such as Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and AT&T offer these kinds of plans, and usually right on their websites. But this is just limited to US carriers either; in the UK you have other choices as well such as O2, 3 Mobile, Orange, and Vodafone.

There are all sorts of options for cell phones for bad credit customers, the most common method though and by far the easiest and most effective way to deal with cell phones bad credit situations, is to go with a prepaid plan or prepaid phone. They’re really only two types of plans when you come down to it, the prepaid type and the standard billing type. Prepaid plans are really more like a debit card where you can only use the amount of money that’s in your actual account and you can never go over. Billing cell phone plans are more like credit cards by the fact that they allow you to use your cell phone over the allotted time and take the risk of letting you use their service on a monthly or yearly basis, but you’ll also pay fees for going over.

This is why credit checks are so prevalent within the service provider industries that deal with standard billing plans. The company wants to know whether you’re really going to pay your bills on time or not so they can pay its various lenders on time as well. Several fantastic cellular phone companies won’t ever have a problem billing you for their service even if you go over your limits, but for those who have a bad credit history it’s an entirely different story, but there are a few options available as I mentioned, like going with prepaid cell phones and cell phone plans.

In case there are people with bad credit histories, cell phone companies will more often than not demand very pricey deposits before they’ll even consider you for a billing plan. This is to make sure the service provider’s money is safeguarded. If your credit is not terrible but it’s just not the greatest you may want to go with partial billing and set a credit limit, this kind of plan is a hybrid between prepaid phones and standard billing phone plans. This essentially means that you still pay a monthly fee but you can’t go over your limit like you could with a traditional billing plan. As I mentioned earlier,if these options don’t work for you, you can always go with a prepaid cell phone plan. These usually never require any credit history checks or contracts since the payment has already been paid in full to the service provider, so there is nothing to worry about. This is one of the best ways to get cell phones for bad credit customers. What’s great about this is that these cell phone customers can also keep track of their finances a lot easier and ahead of time without worrying about if they’re going over their minutes during an emergency or a time when they really need their cell phone.

Sometimes getting a standard cell phone plan or cell phones for people with bad credit can just be too difficult, time-consuming, and costly for a lot of people who have poor or nonexistent credit. They’re plenty of these types of companies and carriers around who specifically deal with this sort of customer and situation; it’s one of the best ways for someone who needs cell phones bad credit devices and assistance.

One of the benefits of going with a prepaid phone or prepaid phone service plan is the fact that you won’t have to put a hefty deposit down on a phone of your choice. Another thing to consider is that if you’re worried about your tendency to over talk on your cell phone more often than not you have more direct control over your talk time and when your talk time occurs.

And though often have free phone offers and specials as well, so anyone looking to get free cell phones for people with bad credit is very possible.

One of the more prolific service providers in terms of getting any prepaid phones for people with bad credit is Trakfone. If you go check out their site you’ll find they have a lot of features that might appeal to someone who doesn’t have very good credit at the moment, as I already mentioned they don’t require contracts and they don’t do credit checks and they also happen to be the largest independent prepaid phone company as well. What’s great about these guys is that the usually sell you an entire package which will come with a battery and a charger, you get 10 minutes of starter airtime and you can purchase prepaid cards which you can refill at any time so that way you never have to worry about going over your limit.
