There are a fair amount of mobile phone service providers and networks in Europe and in the UK particularly, and by far one of the more reliable service providers out there is Vodafone. Vodafone contract plans come in a variety of packages, but they do share some basic standards across the board. All of the Vodafone mobile contract plans include basic functionality that includes being able to actually talk and use texting as well. These are standard UK texts within the country, and the minutes are applicable to calls for mobile phones and landlines ( starting 01, 02, 03) within the UK. If you happen to get a plan that has unlimited texting as an option, these are to be used for personal use only and not business. Vodafone service will work abroad, but you’ll have to visit their page www.vodafone.co.uk/roaming to find out what the various charges may be depending on the location.

Most Vodafone contract phone plans include some level of mobile data allowances as well. If you plan on using a lot of bandwidth per month, a Vodafone made sure contact you before you reach whatever your limit may be, and if you find it isn’t sufficient though usually work out a new pricing plan for you. To put it in perspective, 500 MB a month will allow you to view and send about 100 e-mails, nearly 100 BBC news articles, and it will also allow you to check out at least 44 different mobile phone webpages per day. And with 1000 MB, or 1GB allowance, you can effectively double those stats which should be more than sufficient for most users.

Vodafone contracts really come in four different flavors if you will, particularly when it comes to the length of the contract itself. The first plan is a full two years or 24 month plan with the second one is an 18 month plan. They also have SIM only plans that can either be for a duration of 30 days/monthly, or you cannot to get a 365/ yearly Vodafone contract plan. They have to many different options to list in this article, but for a device like a Blackberry for example, they have basic plans that start as low as £10 per month, all with different levels of talk time, texting, data usage, and contract duration. They can go as high as £65 – £76.38 for the more comprehensive Vodafone mobile phone contracts which typically include 3000 minutes, unlimited texting, and at least a gigabyte’s worth of data usage.

In today’s current economic climate, many people are finding that being locked into a traditional cell phone contract can really put a strain on their finances.

People are finding themselves any cell phones bad credit situation due to the fact that many of the service providers in cell phone networks are rejecting them due to having bad credit. With the advent of 4G network technology many consumers are looking to get onto Sprint’s network, who is spearheading the transition to 4G standards. However Sprint, can be one of the more expensive and difficult networks to get onto, thankfully there are some Sprint bad credit solutions available to you. And while there may not be a cheaper way to get onto their service plans, it’s not necessarily impossible even for those of you who are in a tough credit situation.

Getting cell phones with bad credit can be rather difficult and often costly as well. Some of the network service providers charge you substantial upfront deposits, and in some cases never even repay that back at some point. There was a time when Sprint used to offer their customers one of the best sprint bad credit plan programs out there for folks who are dealing with a bad credit history. However, now I’m not too different from the rest of their competitors and have very similar standards when it comes to credit acceptance. When it comes to Sprint, there are basically three levels of Sprint bad credit deposits. The lowest cost in deposit is $125, the next is $250, with the most expensive being $500 or more.

The amount that Sprint will ask you require you to pay depends mostly upon your credit history. However, it can possibly be affected by the type of phone and services that you’re trying to sign up for, especially high-end smart phones with high broadband capacity functionality. But generally, if your credit score is really so poor you’ll be asked to give at least a $500 deposit for your bad credit sprint service. For folks who simply don’t have a credit history, you’ll likely be able to pay much less and $125 is pretty typical for people in that situation. You then have what most people fall under, a basic credit history that isn’t perfect but isn’t the worst either, and those folks tend to pay around $250 to get started.

One thing to keep in mind, is that if you make all of your payments on time for the duration of the year, Sprint is one of the companies that actually will pay you back your entire deposit fee and credited towards your cell phone account. This not only improves your standing with Sprint themselves, but also improve your overall credit scores well for future purchases.

US Cellular is one of the bigger cell phone carriers that serves 26 states in the US and is expanding. They’ve also started to branch into pre-paid US cellular cell phones with the launch of their talk tracker service. US cellular prepaid supports most of the modern features that come with current cell phone technology and you can also activate supported cell phone models that they may not sell themselves, many people appreciate the fact that they don’t have to buy US cellular phones to use their service. The only thing to keep in mind however, is the fact they are a regional provider so they don’t have the kind of coverage that a company like Verizon wireless would have.

US cellular prepaid plans comes in two basic forms, one is a monthly plan and the other is more of a pay-as-you-go type plan. All of the US cellular plans that are monthly include free incoming calls as part of their package, they also give you free talking minutes after 9 PM as well. there $45 cell phone plan also comes with 350 anytime talking minutes, and if you happen to go into overage time, charges each minute ends up being about $.15 each.

They also have $60 and $80 plans as well, the $60 plan gives you 600 minutes of talk time plus unlimited minutes on the weekends, the overage charges per minute for this particular plan are about $.10 each. The $80 plan comes with a very generous 1000 minutes of talking time plus a limited time during weekends as well with overage charges the same as the $60 plan.

If you decide to go with one of their pay-as-you-go options, the first choice has a monthly access charge of about six dollars and will run you about $.15 per minute. Their second choice has a monthly access charge of $10 and will cost you $.10 per talking minute. You can access their customer service without using any of your minutes either through e-mail or by calling their toll-free customer service phone number.

You can usually refill the minutes on your account at US cellular retail store which requires a five dollar minimum refill. You can automatically refill your phone’s minutes by calling the customer service number and using a credit or debit card, Western Union stores are another option as well. US cellular prepaid phones also support text and picture messaging as well, with texting messages that are in coming being free for both monthly and pay-as-you-go plans. You can either go if a text messaging package ranging from $4.95 all away up to $14.95 for unlimited messaging, or you can pay $.25 per message à la carte.

Keep in mind that calls that are made from outside of your service plan area will be charged at $.69 per minute, so be mindful of where you’re going to be using the phone. They support most of the standard calling features such as voicemail, three way calling, caller ID functionality, and call waiting on all their prepaid plans. There fee for activating the phone is $30 which is a one time fee, and this fee is included in their starter packages should you decide to go with that option with prices that vary depending on the area you’re in.

Times are tough and not a lot of people can afford to get really elaborate and expensive cell phones with multi year contracts, this is a specially the case for those of you who have no credit or a very bad credit history. Thankfully, there are a variety of methods around this issue and cell phone carriers who are willing to provide you with alternatives to the traditional two-year contract via their cell phone service for bad credit packages. The four major cell phone networks and service providers are AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, and T-Mobile and all of them offer some kind of prepaid or non contractual-based cell phone service, however some are more affordable and superior to others.

Verzion tends to be the most expensive of the bunch because they are the biggest service provider in the US, however they have started to implement their own prepaid cell phone service with bad credit programs in the form of day-to-day plans. They have a variety of prices ranging from a pre-paid basic plan where you simply pay a flat fee for all of your basic voice calls all the way up to $3.99 per day for unlimited domestic calling, you can either provide your own compatible cell phone or purchase one of theirs directly from their store. AT&T has their GoPhone service which has phones that range all the way from $45 all the way up to $200 and more, these phone packages usually come with about 25 minutes in here time credit or more into the refill either by purchasing more credit or are simply paying directly for your phone as you use it.

T-mobile tends to be the most forgiving and friendly to folks looking for substantial cell phone service but also being in a bad credit cell phone situation as well. They have a variety of different options from simple pay-as-you-go options similar to the other companies and they also have flat rate monthly fees which start as little as $30-$40 per month and you can add different services and functionalities to your phone and increase your monthly rate but not be subscribed to a contract. Sprint also has very similar options in their pay as you go and prepaid cell phone service packages as well, their prices tend to be very similar to AT&T and Verizon. Regardless of which service provider you choose to go with, make sure you do plenty of comparison shopping on the Internet and in retail locations you can get the best possible deal, cell phone companies are perfectly happy and willing to match any deal that may be coming from one of their competitors so that they can get your business, so don’t be shy about bringing it up.

Modern cell phone contracts are really expensive and tend to be off putting to the vast amount of customers out there who might want to get a cell phone. This is particularly the case for those who want to get a more sophisticated cell phone which has a variety of different services and functions like texting, advanced voice mail and voice-activated features, web browsing, GPS, gaming and much more. However due to current economic times, many people are unable to be qualified for service in many are finding that there are not many cell phone plans for people with bad credit.

One of the ways around this problem, and by far the most common, is to go to some sort of pre-paid cell phone plan. Prepaid cell phone plans are fantastic because they not only allow you to put down initially how many minutes you really are going to need, but it also allows you to not go over as you would in a traditional cell phone service contract and thus incur penalties. This does have its own drawbacks however, because some people in an emergency may need to go over their minutes, and if this is the case for you than this type of noncontractual cell phone service might not be appropriate for you.

Another option is to go with a pay-as-you-go format, this may sound similar to a prepaid cell phone plan, but the principal difference is that you can use as many minutes as you want and you simply pay at that moment in time or after your call is finished. You also have a third option as well, you can go with some sort of flat rate monthly plan that does not require a contract but does require that you either supply and use a supported cell phone or purchase a cell phone from them at full price and then simply sign-up and pay for your first month and then you can quit service it anytime you like.

Many of the major service providers are starting to provide this option in light of the recent economic times, one of the best companies to go with this kind of plan is T-Mobile as they have a variety of different monthly rate plans that are as low as $30-$40 per month and that don’t require a contract as well. Be sure to do plenty of comparison-shopping and review reading before making any final purchases so that you can get the best bargain for your dollar.

AT&T has become one of the major players in these cell phone service provider industry, this is particularly been spurred on by the fact that it has an exclusive contract-for now with Apple and their ubiquitous iPhone. Because of the fact that so many people are trying to get this particular phone as well as other smart phones that are exclusive to AT&T service, many are looking to get service despite their AT&T bad credit situation. Fact is however, that you’re unlikely to get any service from AT&T if you have very bad credit or no credit at all, but there are some things that you can do to improve your situation should you want to get service with this particular provider.

One of the major requirements to getting any sort of contractually-based service with AT&T is to pay a fairly hefty deposit fee up front, the fees can change here and there and from time to time, but generally most people end up having to pay $400 all the way up to $800 on top of the cost of a phone. Now this is a fantastic option for those of you who have the financial means to make these kind of hefty fees, and if this is the case then this might be the way to go for you. One other thing to keep in mind, is that if you do end up paying your bills every month on time for an entire year then AT&T, like many of the other major service providers, will refund you your entire deposit after years time. They’ll often put this deposit toward your phone account and not in your bank account, but nonetheless you get quite a bit of money back to help pay your future monthly bills.

What this essentially allows you to do is to build up a form of credit history with them, not only does it allow you to build up a credit history with AT&T, but it also builds up your overall credit score as well which could end up helping you in other situations where you might need to have proof of regular and on-time bill paying-even for another cell phone here. Be sure to do plenty of comparison-shopping however, as AT&T isn’t the only major player, and very soon the iPhone and other major smart phones will be available on all major networks so that you won’t be confined to one or two service providers.

Getting bad credit wireless service and cell phones can be rather difficult considering the fact that a lot of companies won’t keep you in kind of service unless he paid fairly hefty deposit up front if you know that credit. If you do find your one of the people that has to put down some kind of deposit, you’ll also find that it tends to take quite a bit of time to get that money back which can be a huge hassle and another that self. Thankfully, you do have some options, because some companies charge much less than others to get on their network and to get access to some of their phones for reasonable prices.

Verizon wireless bad credit service is likely going to be the most difficult and also the most expensive service to get any kind of contract with. This is primarily because they’re the biggest and therefore the most expensive cell phone service provider currently out there. However, if you do find that you have the funds needed for wireless phone financing and simply have a poor credit history and can afford the deposits, you have to pay generally, between $400 all the way up to $1000. Keep that in mind if you wish to build this particular company.

Another service provider that very well may work for a great many of you is T-Mobile. T-Mobile actually has a variety of different programs for folks that have poor credit. They have a variety of packages where you can set a predetermined amount ahead of time to be your “limit” and then afterwards they will shut you off. These phones tend to cost a bit more, and the package that allows you to do this requires that you spend at least about $125 to get started in addition to the cost of the cell phone.

Another option is that you can go with one of their many flat rate monthlywireless plans that don’t require any contracts. These can range anywhere between $30-$50 per month depending on the features that you want. T-Mobile also has a fair amount of pay-as-you-go options as well. Just keep in mind that if you do put down a heavy deposit so that you can get some kind of contractual service plan with a major carrier, that you pay your bills on time and after about a year’s time you will get your money refunded to you provided it you paid on time every time.

In our current and likely, at least for some time, future economic climate, getting any cell phones- bad credit or non existent credit, with a contractual cell phone plan is likely to be very difficult, unattainable, or extremely expensive for the vast majority of people who have anything but a perfect credit score or history. Having said this however, there are ways in which individuals who desire to be part of a more major national network like Verizon- bad credit individuals too, can do so. This is for those who wish to have access to the more expensive and top-tier phones and services while still having some form of a bad credit history.

Verizon is the nation’s largest cell phone service provider, and as such, they command quite a hefty price due to the fact that they have the widest coverage and therefore tend to have the most stable wireless connections and abundant features. The Long and short of it, is that essentially for an individual to get verizon cell phones (bad credit included) and service, being the major cell phone carrier and service provider that they are, you often have to pay a fairly hefty deposit upfront. This is used essentially as collateral against your nonexistent or bad credit history.

For those of you who have some level of credit history-even if imperfect or a mid-level credit score of 400 to 600, Verizon bad credit plans tend to require a deposit fee or payment of about $400, though this can vary from person to person and also from plan to plan depending on what the potential customer wants and terms of service. Verizon has also recently added support for those with extremely bad credit in the form of deposits going all the way up to 1000$ in some cases, while expensive-this can be particularly good for those who do well for themselves but simply have a poor credit history due to unfortunate or uncontrollable financial circumstances.

Verizon financing, isn’t all that different to work with than most of their major competitors financing options, the only major difference beyond pricing, is they won’t refund you any of your deposit money should it come to that at some point before a full year is up. Verizon requires that you pay all of your monthly expenses and payments on time and each month for a full year, so as to build a credit history with them essentially. After this period of time should you do whats required, they will refund whatever deposit you made the year prior. Also, be sure to keep in mind this deposit is independent of whatever model phone you choose to go with.
